After reading countless reviews and technical specs, I bought and returned several high-end boots before my trip to northern Norway in December 2022. I ended up keeping these, and WOW am I glad I did. Temperatures above the Arctic Circle are as cold as other winter climates, but there’s just something different about the type of cold. These boots outperformed my expectations. My feet/toes were warm and dry with only one pair of merino wool socks. I wore these everyday for 3 weeks, and they still look great. I did have to order/return sizes, and ended up with a 9.5, where I regularly wear a 9. Sorel, please continue to make this boot. It’s truly the most functional and fashionable boot for actual cold, wet, snowy weather. Well done!
